Spectral Panoramic Field: Seven-Band Spatial Effect

Meet Spectral Panoramic Field — the biggest Spectral Colors plugin yet. It splits any sound into seven spectral bands — Sub to Air — and turns each one into its own glowing planet inside a 3D stereo space. Bass drifting left while the presence spirals right, air floating overhead: a static mix becomes a living field of motion.

Seven planets, one space

A spectral engine slices the signal into seven bands that recombine perfectly — when nothing moves, the plugin is completely transparent. Drag a band’s planet around the isometric monitor to place it in the stereo field, give it an orbit, a helix, a pendulum swing or a slow random drift, and shape its size, speed, stereo width and saturation from a full 7×8 control matrix. Master macros — Spread, Motion, Height, Swing — steer the whole field with single knobs.

A laboratory of seventy LFOs

The modulation system is the heart of it. Seventy LFO chips live in a paged lab — drag any chip onto any knob and that knob starts to move, with a glowing dot in the chip’s colour riding it in real time. Six waveforms plus fully drawable shapes (with per-point smoothing — hold a point and drag to soften or sharpen the curve through it). Rate and depth have their own motion engines — Pendulum, Chaos, Wave, Bounce, Pi — with swing and host tempo sync. And every connection chooses its behaviour: push the knob forwards, backwards, or swing bipolar around the set value.

A second view lays the seven bands across a spectrum. Toggle any band on or off, and — with the opt-in Custom Crossover mode — reshape how sharply neighbouring bands hand over to each other, from surgical splits to wide, gluey blends. At any setting, the bands still sum perfectly back together when still.

Built like an instrument

The glass interface gives everything live feedback: knobs show their modulation as it happens, planets glow with the energy of their band, and a double-click on any knob lets you type the exact value. A three-band compressor and lookahead clipper keep the output tight no matter how wild the motion gets.
