Introducing SPC Hue

By 2 min read
A luxury glass chord console with a seamless coloured chord grid, glowing sci-fi keyboard and radial chord wheel, in SPC Hue style

One note · any chord · your key

Music theory, pressed into one key.

Meet SPC Hue — the chord station of the SPC line. Play a single note and it blooms into any of 37 chord types across all 12 roots, stacked diatonically so it always lands in your scale.

Three ways into harmony

The grid, the keyboard, the wheel.

A seamless grid holds 16 programmable chord pads. The sci-fi keyboard illuminates every sounding note, while the radial wheel puts the circle of fifths and a three-ring chord-type selector directly under your cursor. Build, audition, then drag the result onto a pad.

Progressions on demand

Start with a spark, not a blank page.

The six-style GENERATOR fills your pads with a progression in key. SMART GEN reads the settings already in front of you before it writes, while Pads mode maps the white keys from C4 upward—turning a progression into a walk across the keyboard.

It plays like a musician

Give every chord movement and breath.

SPREAD moves chord tones through the stereo field while the bass remains confidently mono. FELT adds a pianist’s roll in Gentle, Cinematic or Dreamy styles. Glide, chord slide, pitch bend, MPE and MIDI-learn keep the performance alive.

A complete instrument inside

Synth, sampler and MIDI brain.

Choose Piano, Harp, Keyboard or Pluck, or load any audio format into the three-slot sampler. Shape it with AHDSR envelopes, Prism-Q filtering, crossfaded loops, eight LFOs and a modulation matrix—or switch to MIDI-only and let Hue conduct any external synth.

Your colours, your library

A console that changes with your world.

Twenty-four console themes recolour the complete instrument—including the chord language itself. Personal 99-preset libraries with full SAVE/LOAD keep every progression within reach.

SPC Hue is a Windows CLAP instrument. One note. Any chord. Your key.
