“Music theory, pressed into one key.”

SPC Hue is the Spectral Colors chord station: play a single note and it blooms into any chord in your key — every one of the 37 chord types across all 12 roots, stacked diatonically so it always lands in the scale. The luxury glass console gives you a seamless coloured chord grid of 16 programmable pads, a sci-fi keyboard whose keys glow with what is actually sounding, and a radial chord wheel that lays the circle of fifths and a three-ring type wheel under your cursor. A six-style progression generator fills the pads in your key, SMART GEN reads your current settings, and the chord builder lets you audition a chord and drag it straight onto a pad. SPREAD pans chord tones across the stereo field while the bass stays mono; FELT adds a pianist’s roll in Gentle, Cinematic or Dreamy. Under the hood there is a built-in synth (Piano / Harp / Keyboard / Pluck), a full 3-slot sampler with AHDSR envelopes, Prism-Q filtering, crossfaded loops, 8 LFOs and a mod matrix — or switch to MIDI-only and drive any external synth with the generated chords. Glide, FL slide notes, chord slide, pitch bend, MPE in and out, MIDI-learn and CC macros are all wired in, and 24 console themes keep even the chord colours inside each palette.

Latest updates

Actively developed — recent fixes and improvements:

v1.2.22026-07-24
  • Theme Pack — ten new console themes including Shadow Purple (24 total), with chord colours constrained to each palette; validator-hardened store release.
v1.2.12026-07-23
  • Sampler stability fix — long sustained samples could self-oscillate the filter into a loud glitch; the filter is now unconditionally stable.
  • The sampler now loads MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, WMA, ALAC and every WAV flavour — not just canonical PCM.
v1.1.02026-07-22
  • The SAMPLER round — 3-slot sampler with envelopes, filter, crossfaded loops, 8 LFOs and a mod matrix; Pads mode (white keys trigger the pads); option popups on every selector.
v1.0.02026-07-20
  • The Console release — luxury glass console, radial chord wheel, SPREAD + FELT, hover tooltips on every control.

Made to be played

Every knob morphs the sound.

SPC Hue is built for real-time sound design. Turn a control and the whole signal reacts at once — spectral colour, granular texture and modulation respond live, right in your DAW. Nothing is baked in: every parameter is fully automatable and MIDI-mappable, so you can draw evolving movement, morph a vector-scope signal, and lock in a one-of-a-kind sound no preset could give you.
