SPC Red Shift
Sub-bass weight you can feel — and control.

“Low end, engineered — not hoped for.”
SPC Red Shift is a sub-bass enhancement engine with a simple promise: more weight, zero latency, no surprises. An LR4 crossover — dragged straight on the analyzer — splits the enhanced low band from the untouched highs. Below the split, a sub-floor cleans up the rumble you don’t want, the Weight low-shelf adds the mass you do, and a harmonic generator with Warm, Tape and Fuzz characters (oversampled 1x/2x/4x, still zero-latency) builds the overtones that make sub audible on small speakers. A tracked monophonic sub-octave lays a half-frequency foundation under the note, the phase-coherent Tighten compressor keeps it controlled, and the mono-below maker collapses everything under your chosen frequency for club-safe lows. The Saturation tab adds a per-band stage — Sub below 60 Hz, Bass 60–120, Mid-Bass 120–300, each voiced for its range — that stays bit-transparent until you dial it in. The black-and-red console shows exactly what you’re doing: the analyzer draws the output and, in cyan, the ADDED trace — precisely what the plugin contributes, nothing else — with an output stage panel for input, output, low band and gain reduction. CPU-authoritative DSP, GPU-accelerated display, four UI sizes and a full settings panel finish it.

Actively developed — recent fixes and improvements:
- Store release — account activation with offline license caching, and hardening verified against the official CLAP validator.
- Deck polish — inset slider channels, hover halos, cleaner tab alignment and grid spacing across the lower deck.
- The ADDED trace — a second cyan analyzer curve showing exactly what the plugin adds to your signal; zero on bypass.
- The Saturation tab — per-band saturation for sub, bass and mid-bass with global Sat Drive, bit-transparent until dialled in.
- First release — the full sub-bass engine: crossover, sub-floor, Weight shelf, harmonic generator, sub-octave, Tighten and the mono-below maker.

Made to be played
Every knob morphs the sound.
SPC Red Shift is built for real-time sound design. Turn a control and the whole signal reacts at once — spectral colour, granular texture and modulation respond live, right in your DAW. Nothing is baked in: every parameter is fully automatable and MIDI-mappable, so you can draw evolving movement, morph a vector-scope signal, and lock in a one-of-a-kind sound no preset could give you.
