Introducing SPC Craft Table
On this page4 sections
Meet SPC Craft Table — the sound-design bench of the SPC line. Describe a one-shot in words and craft it on your own machine: no cloud, no account, no telemetry. A sound-design bench, not a slot machine.
Prompt alchemy
Two prompt fields — A and B — with an 11-step alchemy blend between them, and a DESTROY button when the experiment deserves it. ENHANCE hands your words to a local language model that rewrites them the way the audio engine likes to hear them; SURPRISE rolls a fresh-seed idea when you want to be led.
Constrained like an instrument
Key and octave, an exact length target, one to eight voices, stereo width, fixed or fresh seed — the forge takes musical constraints, not just prose. Twenty-one source categories span Vocal, Choir, Synth and Percussion through Creature, UI and Texture, and a local model router sends spoken-word prompts to a speech engine, everything else to the SFX model, with a deterministic forge fallback that always produces something.
Made to leave the plugin
Exports are shaped for the tools you already use: Serum and Serum 2 wavetables, Korg modwave, and SPC Granular X sources. Or just drag the WAV straight out of the plugin into your DAW. A 32-item history and prompt presets keep the good rolls.
Three scenes, one game
The interface plays like a small game: the grassland Alchemy scene for prompts, the rune-forge Craft scene for generation, and the vault Export scene for delivery — all animated, all one click apart.
SPC Craft Table is a Windows CLAP tool with fully local generation — see the full page at spectral-colors.com/plugins/spc-craft-table. Type a sound. Craft it. Drag it in.
